There are several indoor and outdoor shooting ranges around the lake and surrounding communities. Hawley and Honesdale are the two closest locations to Lake Wallenpaupack but there are others that might be worth a try.
For private ranges, call ahead and make sure they are providing you with the right type of environment. Some are unsupervised and others offer a host of services, including rentals, ammunition and training. Here is a list of a few we found when doing our research.
